He also solicited the sponsorship of well-to-do individuals in the state, corporate and non-governmental organizations, and government at all levels towards organizing developmental trainings for Ekiti Youths to boost their self-reliance.

Also at the sitting, the Youth Parliament stressed the need for youth inclusion in governance, as it pushed for a 40 percent youth inclusion at all government levels, noting that youths under the category shouldn't be more than 40years of age.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Michael Awopetu, had earlier highlighted activities slated to mark the International Youth Day to include lectures, symposium and general discussion, road Walk, among others.
