A spokesperson for the ministry, Egwim Perpetua, made this known in a statement. Witchcrafts in the State of Osun have said that they would no longer hide their spiritual societies and are proud to disclose their identities to members of the public. Coordinator of the Progressive Witchcrafts Society in the state, Chief Mrs. Oyelola Elebuibon, said the time had come for every witchcraft in the state to show up and support the society with their innate spiritual abilities. The priestess clarified that she held witchcrafts’ anniversary and not witches’ and wizards’ anniversary, as wrongly reported recently. She explained that there is remarkable difference between witchcrafts, witches and wizards, reiterating that she heads the witchcrafts society in the state. Fuoye Logo Some academics in Ekiti State have condemned a clause in the call for application for the vacant vice chancellor position in Federal University, Oye Ekiti, FUOYE, and said the instruction was a dangerous new trend being introduced into the selection of vice-chancellors for Nigerian universities. The academics, who coalesced under the name “Concerned Citizens and Friends of Academia in Nigeria” particularly frowned on an aspect which stipulates that candidates, apart from being of the rank of professor with a minimum of eight years’ experience at the time of application, should also be from a federal university.
