Eid el Kabir Congratulatory Message

I congratulate all Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year's Iléyá celebration.

I urge you all to imbibe the salient lessons of Eid-Kabir and emulate the humility, good neighbourliness, understanding and love

exemplified by the life of Prophet Mohammed.

Also, endeavour to exhibit qualities such as commitment, discipline, obedience to and love of Allah and apply same in dealing with fellow human beings irrespective of ethnic and religious affiliation.

I advise my Muslim brothers and sisters to guard against any action that will sabotage the effort of the Government, by adhering to the safety protocols and directives of the Government in the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Comrade Awe, a member of the SRC, representing the department of demography and social statistics starred up the argument, which hit the wrong cord in the acclaimed faculty Presidents, who also happens to be members of the SUG caretaker committee. He laid claim that a larger number of the current SUG caretaker committee members are Presidents of various faculties in the school, hence, becoming unconstitutional for them to hold two different executive portfolios at the same time, or better still, resign from the former post and handover immediately to their vice Presidents, if they should continue with the current appointment.
