On Tuesday 7th of April 2019, Mrs. Oladipo Dorcas said the major source of income for Oye Indigiene especially Women is Palm Oil which is Produced from Palm kernel, Mrs. Oladipo in are words said Oye women indulge in the production of Palm Oil and the Other end Product gotten from Palm kernel. Palm Kernel serves many other purposes which can be used as a source of income. Oye Women get Money from the sales of Palm Kernel, Palm Oil and other materials gotten from Palm kernel. Many small-scale industry employ some Women to produce palm Oil, its this Small-Scale enterprise that pay this women base on an Agreement that has been earlier signed between them, this agreement could involve payment on daily basis,weekly basis or even monthly and in some cases this agreement could involve payment on the percentage of palm oil produced and Sold.
Mrs. Oladipo further stressed that the Government should try and help in everywhere that they can to make Palm oil production more lucrative and this employment Opportunity should be Known widely to help tackle unemployment among Women. In her Final statement, she also employs the government to provide funds for small-scale Business and increase the employment rate in the country.
