Insecurity in Oye-Ekiti: Elders protest


The Elders of Oye-Ekiti community on Monday 20th of May 2019 staged a peaceful protest to tackle insecurity in the Area. The elders who expressed there disapproval at the level of insecurity in the Area staged a protest around the community, Many of there farm produce are found missing and Majority of there livestock are either dead or Nowhere to be found. The selected delegate among Elders Marched to the Palace of the king and they requested to see the king to expressed there discomfort. One of our correspondent Mr. Ayomide reported that the meeting with the king was peaceful and the elders all left the palace with a sign of Relief. The king promised to provide an immediate measure to tackle this Problem.

Individual Greed Responsible for Ekiti Current Sordid Realities - Oni
