Bad English/presentation is of consequences; not only to the listener/reader, but also to the person who speaks/writes it.
Of what value is a writeup/oral communication full of technical jargons, big and ambiguous words, hence, causing serious problem for the recipient to easily decode the intended meaning?
If you speak/write to impress your audience, you might end up not having the desired impact on them.
The effectiveness and success of every communication activity neither lies on the number of technical jargons used nor the level of impression made. Rather, it is dependent on how well the recipient is able to decode and attach the intended meaning to it, thereby giving room for an intended feedback, which makes the communication activity complete.
In a nutshell, simplicity is the order of the day!
